TIM CAREY TONY GRASSO YAW AMPONSAH VIREN KAMDAR
(bass) is a multi instrumentalist and composer from Seattle Washington. He has shared the stage with many local and international names and has toured South Korea, Thailand, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and both the East and West US coasts. Tim also works as a theatre musician, musical director and arranger. He teaches music privately full time, is on faculty with the National Guitar Workshop, and has been a guest jazz theory teacher at Cornish college of the arts. (trumpet) is a graduate of the Naval School of Music and has studied with legendary saxophonist Joe Daley and pianist/ author Mark Levine.  He currently teaches trumpet techniques and jazz improvisation at Mills Music in Seattle and Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington.  Tony regularly performs in Seattle at Bumbershoot, NW Folk Life Festival and The Seattle Jazz Festival. (percussion) is a master drummer from Ghana specializing in the Ashanti tradition. He is from a family of musicians, his father an internationally recognized Palm Wine guitarist and lifetime honorary member of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music. Yaw teaches West African percussion and leads the Akoma Ensemble at the University of Washington’s School of Ethnomusicology.   (percussion) is a privately trained percussionist studied in Hindustani, Flamenco, Arabic and Latin styles. He has played extensively as a live and session percussionist in the Pacific Northwest for the last 13 years.
